  1. Carla Says:

My daughter (although she has less significant issues) is in a resource room with the other “special kids” for most of the day. She only goes to the regular classroom for specials–gym, music, library and computer. I definately think it is important for some sort of interaction with typical children; both for her as well as the typical kids. She needs to see how she should be acting and how most kids her age are acting. Also, the sooner kids are exposed to those with special needs, the more accepting they will be in the future.

  2. Today's Special Says:

Boy, couldn’t agree more! We’re going to be talking to Alex’s teacher about this soon, and thanks, Carla.
